Rock Steady Duo comprises of Glenn and Mitch Callaghan two very sort after professional musicians with a wealth of experience in the music industry. They have a natural gift to be able to entertain any audience with their very wide repertoire of music. There is something for everyone.

Glenn Callaghan – Vocals / Guitar

Glenn has been a professional musician in the music industry for more than 25 years. He grew up on the Gold Coast, cutting his teeth on the local pub circuit playing in a number of rock bands at venues such as, Bombay Rock, The Play Room, The Pacific Hotel, The Patch and The Grand Hotel just to name a few.

Glenn formed Rock Steady back in the early nineties winning many awards including best duo performers of the year at the Queensland Music Awards.

Present day, Glenn also enjoys a professional career as a solo musician and is a very highly reguarded entertainer playing many of the well know venues all over South East Queensland.

Mitch Callaghan – Bass, Guitar, Vocals

Mitch has been a professional musician in the music industry for more than 10 years. He has played in and been a part of the Rock Steady band and Rock Steady Duo line up for over 7 years playing at a number of well known venues over that time.

Mitch brings a load of experience to Rock Steady along with his unique style that adds to the overall character of the sound. Having been born into a musical family, the passion for the music industry was almost genetically ingrained. He has played guitar since he was five years old and been around bands and the music scene long before he could walk.

Mitch primarily plays standard electric bass in Rock Steady. He also plays a number of double/upright bass guitars that you don’t see a lot of these days. It defiantly adds to the look and sound of Rock Steady.

Mitch has a vast array of musical styles under his belt to draw on, as well as playing a number of instruments. He is able to quickly adapt to anything that is asked of him and is definitely the right person to help steer the music in the right direction and complete the sound that is “Rock Steady”.
